Introducing...
Shane Johnson
Intern
Hi, my name is Shane Johnson, I’m an intern here at Moberg Analytics. I started my internship this past May and work mainly in testing, more specifically in testing the Moberg Clinical Platform (MCP) across different browsers and making sure nothing goes wrong and if it does that the developers know about it and can fix it. When I am not doing testing, I occasionally am doing bug fixes as well.
I am going into my sophomore year at Penn State this Fall as a Biomedical Engineering major. For me, this was an easy choice as a major as it bridges my love for robotics and my passion to help people through medicine. I have a background in engineering primarily, from my high school robotics team where I was on the programming sub team. This internship has helped enhance and build upon my skills by learning how to do programming on both the front and backend of a site. This internship has also taught me the process at which a product is developed and goes through the regulatory pieces and finally ends up on the market.
When I am not doing my internship, you can find me a couple places. I am the president of the Health Humanities club at my university and also do research alongside professors at my university. For fun I like to play video games like Minecraft or Brawl Stars with my friends, and I travel a lot.
What’s next for me? Going to Alaska in July and then Germany and Paris in August.
